First Sip: Goodbye Fear

Updated: Jun 24, 2021

For our first conversation I wanted to share my heart on the first sip STRAIGHT BLACK COFFEE...

What are they going to say? What are they going to think? You can’t... You shouldn’t... No one will support you... You failed so many times. You will always fail...everyone will see what a failure you are. Remember you can’t... You're not qualified...Someone else is so much better at this... You can’t make a difference... You are nothing but hype...You tried before and you failed... ON AND ON AND ON BITTER SIPS OF NEGATIVITY. Fear was a constant voice in my everyday life. I had a problem friend “THEIR VOICES”... THE EMEMY OF MY SOUL VOICE WAS LOUDER THAN JESUS!!! Finally, I remember the moment when I was set free. Fear was nothing but FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL. I realized that people are going to talk about me if I do something and if I didn’t. All that mattered was what was real. I had so much to offer. I was simply too afraid to try to reach out to help. There was an untapped possibility of REAL PEOPLE being touched, helped, and empowered by the gospel. I was stopping myself from living and dreaming for “THEM”. I had access to the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus won my freedom and victory. It only mattered what HE said. I was faced with a choice to believe them or believe him! I chose the life-giving choice of Jesus. I made up in my mind that I WILL trust him nervous, scared, and fully no matter what. I chose and I am still choosing to trust him when it is easy and when it is hard. MY LIFE CHANGED...THE LIGHT CAME ON... I WOULD NEVER BE THE SAME!!!! My sip was not diluted... I NEEDED A STRONG SIP...NO CREAM... NO SUGAR... STRAIGHT TRUTH. The love of Jesus crushed FEAR, SHAME, and EVERYTHING ELSE I WAS FACING. COVID19 Quartine is a name but we serve the name above every name that has to bow at the name of Jesus!! I love this passage that has helped me so much in the Amplified Version let’s sip further and look at 1 Tim 1:7-9. 'For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord or about me His prisoner, but with me take your share of suffering for the gospel [continue to preach regardless of the circumstances], in accordance with the power of God [for His power is invincible], for He delivered us and saved us and called us with a holy calling [a calling that leads to a consecrated life—a life set apart—a life of purpose], not because of our works [or because of any personal merit—we could do nothing to earn this], but because of His own purpose and grace [His amazing, undeserved favor] which was granted to us in Christ Jesus before the world began [eternal ages ago], ' 2 TIMOTHY 1:7-9 I encourage you to say goodbye to fear and start living the life that will make you strong, balanced and inspired. Let us forever take our first sip together THAT WE WILL NO LONGER TASTE THE BITTERNESS OF FEAR!!

I can’t wait until our next conversation we will take a sip soon again.

Stay In The Race Friends!
